Demna’s new Gucci era is already getting the Kardashian stamp of approval. At the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, Kim Kardashian stepped onto the carpet in a shimmering gold gown from Demna’s Fall 2026 Gucci collection, a look that debuted just weeks ago during Milan Fashion Week. The figure-skimming, high-neck silhouette, drenched in liquid gold sparkle, felt quintessentially Kardashian. Very sleek, sculpted, and unapologetically glamorous. By pulling the look straight from the runway for one of Hollywood’s most photographed after-parties, Kardashian delivered one of the first major celebrity moments for Demna’s highly anticipated Gucci debut.
Distinctly Demna in its simplicity and precision, the long-sleeved, body-hugging design hugged Kardashian’s signature hourglass silhouette while the high neckline and floor-length hemline gave the look a sleek, streamlined elegance.

Kardashian styled the look with gold-mirrored Pleaser heels in the style Flamingo-808 (that were 8 inches high with a 4-inch platform, btw) and kept accessories minimal, allowing the gown to take center stage.
The appearance also signals an important early moment in Demna’s tenure at Gucci. Known for his disruptive and culture-shifting work in fashion, the designer’s debut collections for the Italian house have been closely watched by the industry. Kardashian wearing one of the standout pieces from the Fall 2026 runway so soon after its debut only amplifies the buzz surrounding the new creative direction.
And if there’s one celebrity who understands the power of a fashion moment, it’s Kim Kardashian. The reality star turned fashion mogul has become a regular fixture at major fashion weeks and couture shows, often wearing looks straight off the runway within weeks of their debut.
Her appearance at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Demna’s Gucci is exactly the kind of moment designers hope for.
