Sean 'Diddy' Combs Released Date Revealed

Diddy’s calendar officially has a date, May 8, 2028.

After being convicted on two counts of transporting individuals for prostitution, Sean “Diddy” Combs will serve a 50-month federal sentence before entering five years of supervised release with strict conditions.

The 55-year-old entrepreneur, known for his decades-long influence in music, fashion, and entertainment, was sentenced earlier this month in Manhattan federal court. The ruling followed months of public scrutiny, multiple civil lawsuits, and an intense legal battle that dominated headlines throughout 2025.

Combs is currently being held at a federal facility in New York, where he will continue serving his time before his scheduled release in 2028. Following his release, he’ll remain under close supervision, restricted in travel and business activities
