Love Island Australia's Lexy Thornberry Reveals Cancer Diagnosis

Love Island Australia star Lexy Thornberry revealed that she has been diagnosed with cancer, sharing the emotional news with fans this week.

Thornberry, who appeared on Season 3, posted a heartfelt message on Instagram explaining her condition and why she’s choosing to speak publicly now.

“I have always been a healthy person, and was an athlete my entire life,” Thornberry stated. “I’m a Pilates instructor and I teach people how to live healthy lives. There’s nothing I did wrong and nothing that could have prevented it. It’s just the luck of the draw.”

Sharing a photo of herself in a hospital gown, the Reality TV star added, “In the second picture I posted above, I couldn’t stop laughing that they put me in a robe for my X-ray—I thought it was so dramatic. A couple days later I was diagnosed with head and neck cancer.”

“I am starting treatment and ask people to respect my privacy during this extremely difficult time. This is all I’m willing to share at the moment and ask everybody to keep their questions to themselves.”

Fans and fellow Love Island castmates flooded her comments with encouragement, sending prayers and positivity as she starts her healing journey.
