Trina Braxton’s husband, Von Scales, has died at the age of 58.
A representative for the Braxton family confirmed the news on October 1, asking for privacy as the family mourns his passing. Scales reportedly died early Thursday morning, though an official cause of death has not been announced.
Braxton and Scales married in December 2019 after several years together. Their relationship became familiar to fans through Braxton Family Values, where viewers watched Braxton move forward with a new chapter in her personal life, and the couple later appeared on The Braxtons.
Scales often appeared to support Braxton on and off camera, and their marriage became part of the family’s larger reality-TV story.
