Shedeur Sanders Named NFL Rookie of the Week for Week 14

Shedeur Sanders’ rookie season with the Cleveland Browns has officially reached a new milestone. After delivering one of the strongest performances of any first-year quarterback this season, Sanders has been named the Pepsi Zero Sugar NFL Rookie of the Week for Week 14.
In the Browns’ narrow 31–29 loss to Tennessee, Sanders posted a career-best stat line that showcased both his arm talent and mobility. He completed 23 of 42 passes for 364 yards, threw three touchdowns, and added a rushing touchdown, representing his first 300+ yard outing as a professional.
This week was beyond a standout for Sanders, who demonstrated improved pocket presence, sharper decision-making, and a growing command of the Browns offense. His ability to extend plays and stay poised under pressure highlighted the progress he’s made throughout the season.
While Sanders is still early in his development, Week 14 offered a glimpse of what his future could look like. His chemistry with the offense continues to build, and his Week 14 showing suggests he’s beginning to settle into the pace of the league with confidence.
