Dsquared2 Turns Milan Into a Snow Globe for Fall/Winter 2026
By Alexus Mosley
Milan Fashion Week just wrapped, and it’s a must chat about how Dsquared2 delivered a jolt of adrenaline, wrapped in snow, denim, fur, and unapologetic attitude.
For Fall/Winter 2026–2027 collection, the Italian luxury house known for fusing Pop Culture with fashion transformed the runway into an icy alpine fantasy, complete with a snowbound set that felt part ski lodge in a Y2K fever dream, resulting in a collection that leaned heavily into the brand’s theatrical, irreverent, and playful core identity.
True to form, the runway was stacked with layered denim, oversized puffers, glossy vinyl trousers, exaggerated fur collars, and chunky snow boots that stomped down the catwalk with confidence. From technical outerwear styled with lingerie elements, corsets paired with padded silhouettes, and retro ski references filtered through a distinctly early-2000s aesthetic, it is clear there was a deliberate clash at play.
The show’s cast only heightened the moment. Among the models was Heated Rivalry’s Hudson Williams, whose appearance underscored Dsquared2’s long-standing relationship with pop culture and celebrity. His cool and effortless walk reinforced the idea that Dsquared2 clothing is meant to be lived in, not just admired.
The collection refused to be subtle with an abundance of sequined puffers, slogan knits, vinyl bodysuits, and dramatic headwear pushed the visuals into untapped territory, perfect for bold dressers who want fashion and lifestyle to feel expressive, slightly chaotic, and undeniably fun. The color palette echoed the setting. Icy whites, deep blues, forest greens, and rich burgundies punctuated by flashes of red and metallic accents.
At a time when many brands are leaning toward quiet luxury and restraint, Dsquared2 went the opposite direction and confidently so. Fall/Winter 2026–2027 was all about embracing excess, nostalgia, and drama in a way only the brand can.
And honestly? Milan could use more of that.
