For Spring 2026 Couture, Elie Saab looked back to one of his favorite eras. The golden age of the Milos to Marrakech jet set. which inspired the aptly titled Golden Summer Nights of ’71. The collection was a celebration of high glamour with a freer, more indulgent spirit. Described in the show notes as “high couture with a hedonistic soul,” the collection aimed to present couture in a way that felt cooler and more accessible. Designed to speak to all kinds of women while still honoring the house’s signature opulence, the result was a runway that leaned into ease without sacrificing drama.

A palette dominated by metallic golds and bronze, softened by hints of cocoa brown, set the tone for the show. These sun-drenched hues evoked decadent ’70s nights and jet-set escapism, perfectly complementing the collection’s emphasis on movement and layering. Full skirts, abundant layers, and fluid constructions added volume and richness, reinforcing the sense of indulgence.

The atmosphere was heightened by a live performance from Thomas Verovski and the Scoring Orchestra, lending the show a cinematic, immersive quality. Together, sound and silhouette worked to transport the audience into Saab’s vision of a glamorous, wandering summer.
