Shaquille O’Neal Shuts Down Sabrina Carpenter DM Rumors: “I Got Way More Game Than That”
By Alexus Mosley
Shaquille O’Neal would like everyone to relax.
After rumors began circulating online claiming the NBA legend had sent Sabrina Carpenter some very questionable DMs, Shaq stepped in to shut it all the way down. Addressing the viral screenshots on the March 20 episode of his podcast, The Big Podcast, the former athlete didn’t seem fazed. If anything, he was amused. “First of all, ladies,” Shaq said, “the Diesel got way more game than that.” And just like that, the internet was checked.
The alleged messages, which quickly made their rounds across social media, featured over-the-top and explicit language that felt more like internet fan fiction than anything grounded in reality. Shaq clearly agreed. Reading the fake DMs aloud on his podcast, he laughed through them, making it obvious he found the entire situation more ridiculous than scandalous.
Rather than taking offense, Shaq chalked the situation up to the nature of the internet, where going viral often matters more than telling the truth. According to him, this was just another case of people doing whatever it takes for clicks, engagement, and a moment. And honestly? He might have a point. While the rumor mill continues to spin at lightning speed, Shaq made one thing very clear: those messages weren’t his, and if he were sliding into someone’s DMs, it wouldn’t look anything like that.
Because, as he so confidently put it… He’s got way more game than that.
