Papoose Just Made His Love for Claressa Shields Permanent with Tattoo

Papoose is wearing his heart on his sleeve. Literally.
The rapper revealed a new tattoo of girlfriend Claressa Shields’ first name on his left bicep, sharing a video of the process on Instagram over the weekend. The clip, appropriately soundtracked by Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud,” showed Papoose getting “Claressa” permanently inked on his arm before admiring the finished result. “Salute to @Kwon.doe for bringing this amazing art to life,” he wrote alongside the post, tagging Shields in the caption.
If the gesture feels familiar, that’s because Papoose is simply returning the energy. Last year, Shields revealed that she had “Papoose” tattooed below her chest, putting the ink on full display ahead of her heavyweight title defense against Lani Daniels.
The couple’s relationship became public following plenty of social media drama in late 2024, and they have since been considerably less shy about showing their affection for one another.
Now, apparently, Instagram posts simply weren’t permanent enough. With each other’s names officially inked, Papoose and Claressa have taken matching couple energy to an entirely different level.
One thing about these two? They are going to make sure we know the love is real.
