Something blue… right on cue. At the New York premiere of The Drama, Zendaya stepped onto the carpet in a custom strapless ballgown from Schiaparelli’s Spring 2026 Haute Couture collection, styled with luminous pieces from Tiffany & Co.. But this wasn’t just another couture moment. It felt thematically correct. Because if you know anything about wedding tradition, you know the rule: something old, something new, something borrowed… and something blue. And with The Drama centered around a wedding, Zendaya and her long-term stylist and creative partner, Law Roach, followed the brief.

Let’s be honest, we’ve already seen Zendaya give us something old, something new, and something borrowed. So naturally… this was the moment we’d all been waiting on. And she delivered, of course, in a strapless mermaid gown sculpted to her frame with the lower half cascading into a voluminous, tiered skirt, with electric blue feather-like detailing blooming across a black base. The effect? Somewhere between peacock, ocean wave, and couture fantasy.

In true Schiaparelli fashion, the gown was a conversation piece. The texture alone told a story. Feathered, layered, and almost alive, the vivid blue added a surreal, almost symbolic energy to the look. The rest of the styling followed suit. Zendaya kept everything sleek with soft glam featuring a pop of blue around the eyes, sculpted hair, and just enough sparkle from Tiffany & Co.’s sapphire-laden earrings and rings to catch the light without competing with it.

Because when your “something blue” looks like this… everything else simply falls in line.
