Amy Schumer has officially filed for divorce from her husband, Chris Fischer, according to New York County court records dated Tuesday, Jan. 6.
In a statement shared publicly, Schumer confirmed the couple made the “difficult decision” to end their marriage after seven years, emphasizing that the split is amicable and rooted in mutual respect. “We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son,” she wrote, adding that they remain “family forever.”
The pair married in 2018 and share one child together.
