Bethenny Frankel is sharing a health update with fans.

The Real Housewives of New York City alum revealed that her chronic kidney disease has progressed to Stage 3A, just weeks after she was initially diagnosed with Stage 2. Frankel shared the news in a Feb. 19 Instagram video following a visit with her kidney specialist.

According to Frankel, her doctor explained that Stage 3A places her “right in the middle,” noting that she is not at the point of needing medication yet. Instead, she was advised to prioritize hydration, with her doctor emphasizing that “water is your medicine.”

During the appointment, Frankel also learned that her kidney damage may be linked to a severe anaphylactic allergic reaction she experienced several years ago. She added that a liver nodule was discovered during imaging, reinforcing the importance of regular medical testing and monitoring.

The 55-year-old entrepreneur and media personality admitted that staying properly hydrated has been a challenge for her, but said she is now taking the advice seriously. She encouraged her followers to stay consistent with water intake and routine health screenings.
