Love Island USA Star Olandria Carthen Signs With UTA
By Alexus Mosley
Love Island USA breakout star Olandria Carthen is officially taking her next step in Hollywood. Carthen has signed with United Talent Agency for representation across publishing, television, digital media, and more, marking a major career milestone following her buzzy turn on Season 7 of the Peacock dating series.
The Alabama native quickly became a fan favorite during the summer 2025 season, earning the nickname “Bama Barbie” for her doll-like looks and Southern charm. Her on-screen relationship with Nic Vansteenberghe (dubbed “Nicolandria” by fans) also became one of the season’s most talked-about couples. The pair finished second in the mid-July finale and remain together.
Since her time on Love Island USA, Carthen has made waves in fashion circles as well. She walked in Sergio Hudson’s show during New York Fashion Week and has been spotted at Paris Fashion Week in several standout looks. In print, she and Vansteenberghe appeared on the December cover of Glamour for a feature titled “The Year of Nicolandria,” while Carthen also landed a solo cover on Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam in November.
With UTA now backing her next chapter, Carthen’s crossover from reality TV favorite to fashion and media figure appears to be well underway.
