Could Crystal Kung Minkoff be making her way back to Beverly Hills?

Two years after stepping away from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the former Bravo star says she’s finally open to the idea of returning to the franchise. But not necessarily in the way fans might expect.

During a recent episode of her Humble Brag podcast, Crystal revealed that she’s become more open to rejoining the Bravo universe after taking some time away from reality television. “I’m always having conversations in general at Bravo,” Crystal shared. “Just, you know, doing little things here and there.”

While she isn’t necessarily campaigning to reclaim her diamond, she admitted there is one role that has started to appeal to her. “Would I go back? I always dream about the friend role now,” she said. “Like, you’ve made that the ideal role. But it just depends on the cast. But yeah, I think I’d be ready. I think I’m finally ready.”

The revelation quickly sparked conversation among Housewives fans, many of whom have continued to follow Crystal since she departed from RHOBH in 2024. According to Crystal, her newfound openness comes down to time and perspective. Speaking at the 33rd Annual Race to Erase MS Gala, she explained that stepping away from the spotlight allowed her to view the experience differently.

“I think I just needed some time,” she said, noting that conversations with her podcast co-host Cynthia Bailey helped bring the topic back into focus. Despite leaving the show, Crystal insists she still has a great deal of affection for Bravo and her reality TV experience.

“I just love Bravo and I love the whole experience,” she explained. “And I just feel through Humble Brag I’m comfortable being myself.”

These days, Crystal is also enjoying watching the franchise from the other side of the screen. The reality star admitted she stopped watching Housewives while she was actively filming because being part of the production made it difficult to enjoy the shows as a fan. Now, however, she’s rediscovered the fun.

“So, I used to watch Housewives, a few different franchises, and then I just stopped watching it completely when I was on the show because I just knew all the wizards,” she shared. “Now I get to enjoy the show, sort of knowing a little more BTS.”

In fact, Crystal says watching RHOBH has become even more entertaining now that she’s no longer a cast member. “It’s actually far more fun to watch it now because I feel like a detective,” she joked. “I’m like, ‘Did that really happen?’ Or, ‘What is that about?’”

Whether or not a return actually happens remains to be seen, but one thing is clear: Crystal is no longer ruling out a trip back to Beverly Hills. If she does make a comeback, don’t expect her to be reaching for a diamond just yet.
