Morgan Riddle is entering a new chapter, and she already knows one thing she won’t be looking for in her next relationship.

The influencer and content creator is speaking candidly about her recent split from professional tennis player Taylor Fritz, revealing not only when the breakup occurred but also the lessons she’s taking with her as she moves forward. In a new interview with Elle, Morgan confirmed that she and Fritz quietly ended their relationship just over two months ago after nearly six years together.

While many public figures choose to announce breakups with lengthy statements, Morgan decided to take a different approach. Instead, she debuted the news while wearing a cheeky “World’s Best Ex-Girlfriend” T-shirt. “When public relationships end, it’s standard to do some sort of Instagram statement or video, and I tried to write that a few times and I was just like, ‘This is not me,’” she explained.

The lighthearted announcement quickly caught attention online, with fans praising the influencer’s sense of humor amid a difficult life transition.

Morgan also addressed online speculation about her recent move to New York City. After celebrity gossip account DeuxMoi joked that she had relocated in search of a “man in finance,” Morgan admitted she found the rumor entertaining. “I’m really glad they went with that because it’s so funny,” she said. “I think I’m going to start playing off of that.”

But while Morgan is laughing at the internet’s theories, she’s also taking a much more intentional approach to dating moving forward. The influencer revealed that she has created a detailed list of relationship non-negotiables, complete with 33 requirements for any future partner.

According to Morgan, the list includes everything from political alignment and shared life goals to intellectual compatibility and a strict no-gambling policy. The experience has also reshaped her understanding of the kind of love she wants in her life. Morgan credited her best friend, Colton Arman, with helping her navigate the breakup and inspiring a new standard for future relationships.

“When I look toward my next relationship, I will prioritize being loved in the way that he loves me,” she explained. Still, among all 33 items on her list, one stood out above the rest. Morgan made it clear there is one type of man she has no interest in dating again. “I’ll never date an athlete again,” she said. The declaration comes after spending much of the last six years traveling the world alongside Fritz as his career continued to rise through the professional tennis ranks.

For now, however, Morgan appears focused on embracing single life, settling into New York City, and moving forward with a clearer vision of what she wants from her next relationship. And if her viral breakup T-shirt is any indication, she plans to do it with a sense of humor intact.
