Cassie Ventura has officially revealed that she no longer lives in the United States and does not plan on returning.

According to newly filed court documents obtained by TMZ, the singer submitted a declaration dated May 1 in connection with her ongoing legal dispute with male escort Clayton Howard. In the filing, Ventura stated, “I reside outside of the United States. I do not intend to move back to the United States.”

It remains unclear where the singer has relocated or when exactly she made the move. However, the revelation comes less than a year after Ventura played a central role in the federal criminal case against her former boyfriend, Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Ventura became a key witness during Combs’ highly publicized trial, where she testified about the alleged abuse she experienced throughout their relationship, which lasted from 2007 to 2018. Her testimony followed the bombshell lawsuit she filed against the music mogul in 2023, accusing him of rape, physical abuse, and coercion. The lawsuit was settled shortly after it was filed, with Ventura later revealing she received a $20 million settlement from Combs and his companies.

Earlier this year, a jury found Combs guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution but acquitted him of the more serious sex trafficking and racketeering charges. Meanwhile, Ventura remains involved in separate litigation involving Clayton Howard, one of the male escorts prosecutors alleged was hired by Combs. Howard filed his own lawsuit against both Combs and Ventura in July 2025, and the legal dispute remains ongoing.

While Ventura has not publicly addressed where she now calls home, her latest court filing makes it clear that the singer has no plans to return to the United States anytime soon.
