Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt are reportedly going their separate ways just five months after welcoming their daughter, Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson.
According to PEOPLE, the comedian and model recently split after quietly facing relationship struggles behind the scenes. However, sources close to the pair say the breakup may not be entirely permanent, with insiders claiming the two are still “working on things” and ultimately want one another to be happy.
The relationship moved incredibly fast from the very beginning. Pete and Elsie were first romantically linked in early 2025 before announcing they were expecting their first child together only a few months later. By December, the couple had officially welcomed baby Scottie Rose into the world.
The child’s name carries especially emotional significance for Pete. Scottie Rose is reportedly named in honor of Pete’s late father, Scott Davidson, the New York firefighter who tragically died during the September 11 attacks. Pete has since tattooed his daughter’s name near his ear.
Sources claim the transition into parenthood ultimately placed pressure on the relationship, with balancing work schedules, travel, and new-parent responsibilities reportedly becoming difficult for the couple to navigate.
