Holly Madison Reveals What Really Happened Between Her and Kendra Wilkinson

By Alexus Mosley

Nearly two decades after The Girls Next Door came to an end, Holly Madison is shedding light on what led to her falling out with former co-star Kendra Wilkinson.

During a recent appearance on the Hot Goss podcast, the 46-year-old author revealed that while she and Kendra no longer speak, she isn’t completely opposed to reconnecting in the future.“We don’t speak,” Holly shared, before explaining that much of the tension between them developed after their time living at the Playboy Mansion and starring on the hit E! reality series.

According to Holly, Kendra was heavily influenced by the tabloid culture of the time. “At the time, she was really caught up in the tabloid cycle. If her thing to get in the tabloids that week was a rift with someone, then she was going to say it,” Holly said.

Holly, Kendra, and Bridget Marquardt rose to fame as Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends on The Girls Next Door, which aired from 2005 to 2009 and offered viewers a behind-the-scenes look at life inside the Playboy Mansion. However, Holly believes some of the conflict between her and Kendra stemmed from their separate television projects after the show ended.

“It was stuff that had to do with our spin-offs and working with the same producer,” Holly explained. “I really feel like he tried to pit us against each other and got in our heads. So, that’s a shame.”

While the former reality stars have remained estranged over the years, Holly’s comments suggest that outside influences may have played a larger role in their feud than fans previously realized. The revelation comes as interest in the former Playboy stars continues to grow, thanks to retrospective discussions about the reality series and the culture surrounding the Playboy Mansion during the 2000s.

For longtime fans of The Girls Next Door, Holly’s latest comments offer a new perspective on one of reality television’s most talked-about friendships and its eventual breakdown.
