The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders have officially announced their squad for the 2026–2027 NFL season, welcoming eight new rookies while celebrating the return of several fan favorites.

On July 16, the iconic cheerleading team unveiled its newest roster on Instagram, writing, “Officially earned their stars. Introducing your 2026–2027 Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders!” Among the women earning their stars for the first time are Amiyah Naulls, Haley Bogdon, Lexi Smith, and Aubrey Rogers, along with four additional rookies joining the prestigious squad.

For fans of Netflix’s America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, some of the biggest moments came from the returning veterans who finally made the team after heartbreaking setbacks last season. Emily Awbrey, Brianne Lindenau, and Savannah Dastrup officially earned their places on the squad after previously being cut during the 2025–2026 audition cycle. Dastrup’s journey was one of the most emotional storylines featured in Season 3 of the Netflix series. After being cut, Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders director Kelli Finglass and head choreographer Judy Trammell encouraged her not to give up.

“You might just chalk this up to timing and experience and the pressure,” Finglass told Dastrup during the series. “But I think you’ve got the skills to make this team or another team.”

Now, just one year later, Dastrup is officially living that dream. “This is an absolute dream come true!!” she wrote in the comments on the team’s announcement post. “I am so excited and am so so grateful for this opportunity!!! Go Cowboys!!” Awbrey was equally overwhelmed by the news, commenting, “I’m genuinely speechless.”

The announcement also sparked excitement among returning cheerleaders. Faith Ward, who joined the squad last season, celebrated Awbrey’s accomplishment by writing, “DCC EM I SEE YOU AHH!! Go bestie go!!” She later welcomed the incoming class, adding, “So beyond proud of our incredible rooks. Welcome to the family.”

Veteran cheerleader Charly Barby also shared her excitement for the newest members, commenting, “My heart is screaming for them. Such an amazing moment to witness! Cannot wait for this season.”

With training camp behind them and the final roster now set, the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders are preparing to take the field for another NFL season, while fans eagerly await what promises to be another emotional chapter for America’s Sweethearts.
