Former reality star Kendra Wilkinson recently opened up about a difficult moment in her real estate journey, revealing that she broke down in tears after a client fired her as their agent. “When a client fires you… after all the work you put in. Ya, I’m struggling today, guys,” Wilkinson shared with fans on her Instagram Stories alongside an emotional photo of herself.
The 41-year-old later posted a video where she opened up about the pressure she has been feeling while building a new career outside of reality television. “I know that we’re living in a world of struggle right now,” Wilkinson shared through tears. “But it’s just … it’s so hard. It’s so hard right now.”
The former The Girls Next Door star explained that while navigating the ups and downs of her career, she has continued to prioritize her family and personal growth. “I feel like I’m doing everything right in my life — I’m raising my kids and putting them first,” she said, adding that she is focused on being a good mother while working through the challenges of starting over professionally.
Wilkinson shared that recent difficulties, including conflicts with people she works with, being fired, and dealing with negativity, have begun to take an emotional toll.
After stepping away from the spotlight, Wilkinson began building a new career in real estate. She earned her California real estate license in 2020 and later expanded into Malibu’s luxury property market.

Earlier this year, Wilkinson reflected on how her real estate career had grown after landing opportunities representing luxury properties valued between $6 million and $20 million. She previously shared that one of her biggest opportunities came from a chance encounter and a simple act of kindness, a reminder that relationships and networking can open unexpected doors.
