Laguna Beach Cast Reuniting for New Roku Channel Special

The band is back together, the band of Laguna Beach that is.
More than 20 years after the MTV reality series first premiered, several original cast members will reunite for a new special titled The Reunion: Laguna Beach, set to stream on The Roku Channel on April 10.
Returning for the reunion are Lauren Conrad, Kristin Cavallari, Stephen Colletti, Lo Bosworth, Talan Torriero, Trey Phillips, Christina Schuller, Dieter Schmitz, Jessica Smith, Alex Hooser, and Morgan Smith. Original series creator Liz Gateley is also attached as an executive producer alongside several cast members.
According to the official synopsis, the special will feature behind-the-scenes stories, cast reactions to episodes of the original series, and a present-day return to Laguna Beach, the coastal backdrop that helped define the show’s iconic aesthetic.
Laguna Beach debuted in 2004 and quickly became one of MTV’s most influential reality series, helping launch several cast members into long-running careers in pop culture, media, and fashion. The reunion taps into the ongoing nostalgia for early-2000s reality TV and the era that shaped a generation of viewers.
