Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson officially celebrated their marriage with an intimate wedding ceremony in the Bahamas on Saturday, May 23.
According to PEOPLE, the couple quietly made their marriage official in Florida earlier this month, then hosted a private island celebration attended by close friends and family, including Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump, Tiffany Trump, and their spouses.
A source told the outlet that the pair exchanged vows “on a glorious day in a place where they often visit.” Don Jr., the eldest son of President Donald Trump and the late Ivana Trump, has reportedly been dating Anderson for nearly two years after the couple became engaged in December. Anderson, a Florida-based model and socialite, is the daughter of entrepreneur Harry Loy Anderson Jr. and philanthropist Inger Anderson.
Marriage documents obtained by PEOPLE reportedly show that the couple was legally wed at the West Palm Beach home of Anderson’s twin sister earlier this month, with real estate attorney Bradley McPherson officiating the ceremony.
The wedding has already sparked speculation about the couple’s future role within America’s political and social elite circles, particularly after reports surfaced that a future White House wedding celebration has been discussed. If such an event were to take place, it would mark the first presidential family wedding celebration at the White House since Naomi Biden’s 2022 ceremony on the South Lawn.
