Ariana Grande has her big brother in her corner.
As the pop star prepares to step away from the spotlight following the conclusion of her Eternal Sunshine Tour, Frankie Grande shared a sweet message of support for his younger sister after attending her Aug. 6 show in Chicago.
“Family forever. I will have your back until the end of time,” Frankie wrote on Instagram alongside a video of himself singing along to Ariana’s 2014 hit “One Last Time.”
The Titaníque star went on to celebrate his sister and the tour she has created, telling Ariana how proud and happy he is for her.
“You are magical. You are my everything and I am so so happy I was there to see you shine on this tour one last time,” he added.
Frankie’s message comes shortly after Ariana’s representative confirmed that the 33-year-old singer plans to take a break from public-facing work and appearances once the Eternal Sunshine Tour concludes on Sept. 1.
According to her rep, Ariana is looking forward to finishing the tour “healthily and happily” before taking a much-deserved break from the visibility and intense public scrutiny that have accompanied this chapter of her career.
Ariana later addressed the decision herself during her Aug. 3 Chicago concert, explaining that stepping away wasn’t something she decided overnight.
“The announcement that was made yesterday was not a reactive or impulsive thing,” she told the audience, adding that it was something she had “quietly” decided and planned some time ago.
The break will follow a particularly busy chapter for Ariana. Between new music, touring and years of high-profile projects and appearances, she has remained firmly in the public eye.
For now, though, there are still a few weeks of Eternal Sunshine left, and it’s clear Frankie plans to be cheering his little sister on until the final bow.
