Nina Dobrev Debuts New Romance With Model Dougie Joseph Nearly a Year After Shaun White Split

Nina Dobrev appears to be embracing a new chapter in her love life.
Nearly one year after ending her engagement to Olympic snowboarder Shaun White, The Vampire Diaries star was photographed sharing a PDA-filled stroll through New York City with model and entrepreneur Dougie Joseph. The pair looked comfortable together as they walked arm in arm through the city, smiling throughout the outing. In one photo, Joseph was seen kissing Dobrev on the cheek while wrapping an arm around her waist, seemingly confirming their budding romance. Joseph is a model and the co-founder of skincare brand Bondi Skin Co. Neither he nor Dobrev has publicly commented on their relationship.
Dobrev and White called off their engagement in September 2025 after five years together. At the time, a source told People that the decision was mutual and made with “love and deep respect” for one another.
Since their split, Dobrev has occasionally hinted at entering a new chapter in his life through playful TikTok videos about dating and moving on. At the same time, White has largely kept his personal life private. Earlier this summer, he was photographed spending time in New York City with model Angela Garten.
For now, it appears Dobrev is enjoying a fresh start, and fans are already eager to see where her new romance leads.
