Simone Biles Claps Back at Critics Questioning Taylor Swift Wedding Invite

Not everyone was convinced Simone Biles belonged on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding guest list, but the Olympic gymnast had a response ready.
After sharing photos from the couple’s July 3 wedding, one Instagram user questioned her invitation, writing, “When has Simone Biles and Taylor Swift even spoken to each other?” Biles quickly shut down the speculation, replying, “Remember this, I only show y’all what I want y’all to know.”
The gymnast attended the wedding alongside her husband, Jonathan Owens. For the occasion, Biles wore a textured maroon halter gown, while Owens coordinated in a matching velvet dinner jacket. She captioned the photos, “The perfect love story, followed by the perfect nighTT,” a playful nod to the newlyweds’ shared initials.
Although Swift and Biles rarely showcase their friendship publicly, the two have interacted over the years. In 2016, Swift wished Biles good luck ahead of the Rio Olympics, and the pair have continued to support one another from afar.
Biles’ latest response serves as a reminder that not every celebrity friendship plays out on social media and not everything happens online.
