Halle Bailey & Regé-Jean Page Bring the Romance to NYC for You, Me, & Tuscany Premiere

By Alexus Mosley

Halle Bailey and Regé-Jean Page are officially in their romance era, and the NYC premiere of You, Me, & Tuscany proved it. The two stars stepped out on the red carpet ahead of the film’s U.S. release, bringing just enough glamour (and chemistry) to remind everyone that romantic comedies might actually be back. And the timing couldn’t be better.

Set against the dreamy backdrop of Italy, You, Me, & Tuscany follows Bailey’s character, Anna, a free-spirited young cook who finds herself entangled in an unexpected romance after squatting in a Tuscan villa and crossing paths with Page’s character, Michael. What begins as a complicated situation quickly turns into something deeper.

Off-screen, the pairing feels just as effortless. The two actors first met at the 2025 Met Gala in what they’ve described as a “magical meet-cute,” before heading to Italy to film the project, a detail that almost feels too on-brand for a romance like this. The film itself arrives at an interesting moment for the genre. Regé-Jean Page has been vocal about wanting to revive the modern rom-com, emphasizing that stories centered on love, connection, and emotional growth still have a place in today’s film landscape.

With Bailey and Page leading a European-set love story, the film brings a level of representation that still feels rare in traditional rom-com settings, adding another layer of significance to its release.  Now, with the NYC premiere behind them and anticipation building, all that’s left is to see if the film delivers on what the red carpet already promised.

You, Me, & Tuscany hits theaters April 10.
